SHARON SPRINGS LIBRARY: story hour for babies through preschool, with their caregiver, is scheduled for Mondays, from 9:00-10:00 am. Spend some time with other caregivers and give your little one socialization and play time with a fun story. Each story is followed by an activity or free play. No registration is required. Keep in mind, if school is delayed or closed due to weather, story hour is canceled. If the Sharon Springs Central School is closed, story hour is canceled.

SPRING IS JUST around the corner and we all have cabin fever. Mark your calendars for march 18 and 19 for antiques in Schoharie. Saturday from 10 to 5 and Sunday from 11 to 4. The Schoharie Central School will be bursting with treasures of all kinds that the 100 dealers bring in for sale. The show promises to be one of the best so far with quality offerings gathered from everywhere. Buyers will find clock, stoneware, textiles, furniture of all kinds. Glass and china, silver and gold. Paintings, vintage clothing, jewelry and collectibles of all kinds. There will be great homemade chili, macaroni ham and cheese, soup, sandwiches and desserts available in the cafe. This show is a major fund raiser for Schoharie Colonial Heritage Association, supporting its railroad museum, the 1742 Palatine House, its children's theater program, the Depot Lane Singers and many other on going activities throughout the year. This show is one of two that the organization sponsors. September 17 and 18 are the dates for our Fall Antique Show at the Schoharie Valley RR Complex at 143 Depot Lane in the Village of Schoharie. Admission is free, however, Teens should bring a beverage to share, but snacks will be provided. This event is for Teens in grades 6 and up.
