SHARON SPRINGS FREE Library: Reminder: Readers in our book discussion group have chosen John K. Toole’s “A Confederacy of Dunces,” as our next book. Published posthumously in 1980, it became a cult classic and then a mainstream success and won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1981. Set in New Orleans, this tale of a hapless hero even spawned a cookbook of Southern recipes. The discussion date has been moved to Friday, November 30 at 6:00 p.m. Print and audio copies of the book are available. This will be our last book discussion this year.
