Schuyler Lake/ Town of Exeter area (Otsego County) Need help with food? The Schuyler Lake UMC Food Pantry, in cooperation with the Fly Creek UMC, is expanding its Community Food Pantry program. We now have access to food resources from the Northeast Regional Food Bank, as well as local donors and sources, to increase the scope of our food offerings. No eligibility requirements. The Otsego County Solid Waste Department would like to invite everyone to 21st Earth Festival event which will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 9th, at SUNY Oneonta, Chase Auditorium. Earth Festival is an environmentally focused, interactive event featuring exhibits, workshops, vendors, food and entertainment, all with an earth-friendly twist. The event host OCCA will be collecting Textiles, Styrofoam, Cork, Coffee Pods, VHS, CD's Cassette Tapes, Christmas lights, Ink and Toner Cartridges, Oral Care-oral care waste: toothbrushes, floss containers & toothpaste tubes for recycling as well a paper shredding space for all attendees. Otsego County will be there promoting recycling and waste diversion practices that the county has developed over the years for residents.
